Tramontina combines over 110 years of Brazilian craftsmanship with professional-grade materials and construction. Our cookware offers exceptional heat distribution, durability, and value, with many of our premium collections featuring lifetime warranties.
Tri-Ply Clad features a core layer of aluminum sandwiched between two layers of premium stainless steel. Unlike base-only clad pans, our Tri-Ply construction extends all the way up the sides of the pan, providing exceptional, even heat distribution from all angles and eliminating hot spots.
Yes, most of our premium stainless steel (including the Signature Tri-Ply Clad series) and enameled cast iron collections are fully induction-ready. However, standard aluminum nonstick pans are not compatible. Always check for the “induction-ready” symbol in the specific product details.
Yes. Our stainless steel and tri-ply clad collections are typically oven-safe up to 500°F (260°C). Our enameled cast iron Dutch ovens are safe up to 450°F (232°C). Nonstick and ceramic collections are generally safe up to 350-400°F (175-205°C). Always refer to the specific manual for your pan.
Absolutely. All Tramontina nonstick cookware is completely PFOA-free. Whether you choose our traditional PTFE Professional Fusion series or our Solara ceramic nonstick options, they are manufactured with eco-friendly processes and safe, food-grade materials.
To prolong the life and performance of your nonstick and ceramic surfaces, we highly recommend using silicone, wood, or nylon utensils. Metal utensils can scratch the coating and diminish its nonstick properties over time.
While many of our stainless steel items are technically dishwasher safe, we strongly recommend hand-washing all cookware—especially nonstick, ceramic, and cast iron pieces—with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge to preserve the finish and extend the product’s lifespan.
Always allow the pot to cool before washing to prevent thermal shock. Hand wash with warm water and avoid harsh scouring pads. Although the interior is enameled and does not require traditional seasoning, drying the exposed cast iron rim completely after washing will prevent any potential rust.
We recommend regular honing with a sharpening steel before or after each use to keep the edge aligned. Always hand wash and dry your knives immediately to prevent spotting, and store them safely in a knife block or on a magnetic strip.
Stainless steel, enameled cast iron, and ceramic nonstick pans do not require seasoning. However, for our standard traditional nonstick pans, lightly wiping the interior surface with cooking oil before the very first use can help condition the coating for optimal performance.
Founded in Brazil in 1911, Tramontina is a global brand with a rich heritage. We operate multiple state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities globally, including in Brazil and the United States, adhering to the strictest standards of quality control across all locations.
Warranty coverage reflects our confidence in our products. Our premium collections, like the Signature Tri-Ply Clad and Professional series, come with a Lifetime Warranty against defects in material and workmanship. Other specific collections typically offer generous warranties ranging from 5 to 10 years.
